We will take the scenic South Pan-American Highway to begin our ascent to the majestic Irazú Volcano. As we travel along the winding mountain road, we pass through fertile farmland covered with vegetable crops while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views.
At the summit, we will admire the volcano’s main craters. On clear days, it is even possible to see both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
Descending toward the city of Cartago, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, one of Costa Rica’s most important pilgrimage sites.
Our next stop is the charming Hacienda Orosi, surrounded by lush vegetation and tropical rainforest. Here, Mother Nature has blessed the area with hyperthermal mineral waters. Emerging at temperatures above 65°C (149°F), these waters filter through layers of earth before surfacing in the heart of the rainforest, creating an oasis of relaxation and well-being.
At Hacienda Orosi, a place of unique mysticism, the mineral-rich thermal waters provide rejuvenation and wellness. - Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the tour. Otherwise, a 100% penalty applies.
- A 90% refund will be issued for cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance (10% is retained to cover banking refund fees).
